Trasformative Circle

Agape e Philia Circle

AGAPE

Agàpe is spiritual, selfless, fraternal, boundless, pure and infinite love. It is perhaps the most mysterious of loves. The love that one feels by going beyond oneself elevates and merges us with the divine.

PHILÌA

Philìa is sentimental love, made up of affection and sympathy. It developed among heroes on the battlefield who shared interests, dreams and opinions-a bond based on trust, loyalty, sharing, complicit friendship, and harmony.

INTRODUCTION

Personal development can only happen in workgroups and in relationships with others. That is why I created the Transformative Circle - A Sangha (group of friends) that will support each individual to grow and the community to grow with them. All the individual's levels and dimensions will expand.

Agàpe (spiritual, selfless and fraternal); and Philìa (trust, loyalty, complicit friendship) will be the main ingredients. If the members are willing to seek truth, beauty, and justice, well-being will emerge, and a loving and caring attitude will be manifest in all the possible directions.

HOW WILL IT BE CONDUCTED?

First, a small group (4-12 people) will practice a meditative exercise and use profound internal sensory channels (auditory, visual and sensory cues) to increase relaxation and resolve inner conflicts. The exercises will change at every meeting. Then, we will connect in a tranquil and open space, share feelings, thoughts, and sensations and bond with people in a comforting and soothing situation.

WHAT IS IT?

It focuses on applying transformative practice, emotional processing, interactions with others, creativity, and reflections of events. I believe it is an individual responsibility to keep striving to improve, and I am sure that spiritual and psychological evolution can only happen through group work: a group of friends who want to question, investigate, discover and integrate their shadows without reserve. Individuals grow in the group, and the community also grows with them. The group work will create internal and external ecological connections, improve relationships, regulate our emotions, and stabilize our mental health. It is a priceless transformation.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

The group work will help you guide the dispersive forces towards a central self, increase acceptance of your limitations, and reduce anger, fear, and sadness.

GROUP'S PRINCIPLE

Nothing is more vital than telling the truth, seeking beauty and pursuing justice. Those are universal concepts prescribed by all religions and spiritual guides. The Buddha said: "life is suffering". Ageing, disease and natural events cause suffering. For this reason, it is not necessary to act with anger, fear and sadness. These emotions reinforce our internal weakness, inner conflicts, and evil forces. These four precepts will prevent us from experiencing undeserved suffering:

  • Don't lie, hide or manipulate facts, but tell the truth.
  • Don't kill or harm living beings.
  • Do not still and do not take things improperly.
  • Avoid toxic relationships.

GROUP AIMS

The intent is to combine spiritual and psychological practice to prepare us for the World's politics, finance, and severe challenges. We will aim to overcome childish attitudes, destructive habits and irresponsible attitudes to improve ourselves and our communities. Life is more complicated than we think, and we will be tested. It is essential to sustain a purpose and build an excellent internal and external structure to face the obstacles and difficulties. Why do we have to look in the darkest places? Because in the dark, you can find the shine.

WHO AM I?

I am profoundly committed to seeking beauty and truth and sharing the best possible version of myself in the community. For a long time, I have practised spiritual, psychology and coaching exercises to minimize the destructive forces that live in me. Despite my effort, I am still a vulnerable person.

I hope other people are willing to move in the same direction in this adventurous and complex journey. That is why I am keen to create a Sangha (a group of friends). Together, the people in the group will devote part of our time to developing spiritual and psychological practices to evolve.

We will work together to improve our personal and collective mindsets in the best way possible, with sincerity, honesty and attention. At the same time, we will minimize the destructive force and allow our best qualities to emerge.

Dress: we dress in colours that will not be distracting, preferably black. It is better not to wear tight-fitting clothes to ensure blood circulation in your legs. Avoid wearing revealing or patterned clothing, perfume, and noticeable jewellery when sitting with the group.
